Fitness Assessment

The procedure takes under an hour and will give an accurate assessment of your current fitness level. The assessment helps to make effective goal setting and to measure progress and specific exercise programming.

There will be an evaluation of: health history, lifestyle, and eating habits.

· Body Composition analysis including body weight , body muscle index , body fat % and waist-to-hip-ratio Secondly, girth measurements are taken as a way of assessing changes in body composition. This will allow me to create a benchmark for each individual from which I am able to measure future results against. I will also check your resting blood pressure and resting heart rate to determine your training heart rate zone.

· Cardio vascular endurance is tested using a standardized 12-minute run (alternate tests available if you have limiting injuries) or the 3 minutes mCAFT step test. This establishes a baseline for your cardio vascular endurance

· Muscular strength is assessed for both upper and lower body. This procedure is done in a safe manner using medium repetitions and a formula to accurately calculate your strength levels. These numbers are used to compare your pushing versus pulling strength as well as upper to lower body strength

· Flexibility is assessed using the sit and reach test

· Standing Postural Assessment

Your customized personal training program includes:

· Muscle Strengthening, Toning and Building

· Cardiovascular and Endurance Training

· Core Strength

· Balance and Flexibility Training

· Functional Training

· Circuit Training

· Weight management

My personal training sessions are typically an hour. Each session includes; strength training, cardio, and stretching. I recommend two to three sessions per week for optimal results.
